This position supervises and assists in all shift responsibilities, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and bin maintenance. These duties contribute to the shipping success and productivity level of the department. The role involves ensuring the security of the building perimeter, managing the accurate picking, packing, and loading of daily parts orders, and confirming shipping transfer orders in SAP. It also includes running daily shipping reports, checking picking status for emergency orders, and maintaining shipping supplies and the shipping area. The receiving process is critical, ensuring product availability for ordering. This includes expediting receiving inquiries, confirming daily receiving transfer orders in SAP, checking daily bin to bin transfers, classifying new products in SAP, and running daily class reports. The role also involves filing daily paperwork, running weekly spot checks, and assisting in receiving and replenishment when the workload is high. Cycle counting involves creating inventory documents in SAP, assigning employees to inventory, checking discrepancies, generating recounts, running variance reports, unblocking bins, and filing inventory data. Returns processing includes recording returned packages, checking items for damage, putting returned items away, entering them into SAP, filing claims, processing spreadsheets for 30-day dealer returns, and filing daily paperwork. Pierce and terminations involve checking dealer paperwork for part locations, putting parts away, and giving final paperwork to the Operations Supervisor. Bin maintenance includes running monthly reports in SAP for part class changes, assigning bin to bin transfers, and checking/changing storage types and sections. The role also includes training new temporary and full-time employees on the SAP system, barcode scanners, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
