This role assists the Inbound supervisor and Inbound logistics coordinator in executing the daily work plan. A key responsibility is training full-time employees on Inbound functions to ensure high inventory accuracy and assessing their abilities and performance. The role also involves training and developing temporary staff, monitoring morale, and motivating associates. Daily reconciliation of footwear and accessories receipts in WMS and SAP postings is required, along with researching discrepancies and open tickets. The position monitors lost cartons, performs inventory adjustments, maintains error tracking reports, and analyzes trends in putaway issues, working with associates to reduce errors. Weighing and measuring new products, applying appropriate dimension models, and assisting in creating new dimension models are essential for carton content and outbound efficiencies. Correcting issues with carton content, including pack quantities, new case quantities, dimension issues, and pack factor issues, is also a core duty. The role assists in replenishment, full case, and cross dock picking, labeling, and reconciling. Collaboration with the returns quality coordinator on vendor compliance issues and providing backup to all DC coordinators are expected. The position supports company safety policies and procedures and provides support to all warehouse functional areas as needed.
