About The Position

The Inbound Coordinator is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying and performing the necessary computer transactions, and ensuring an orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to customer. This role involves receiving and data entry of incoming materials, verifying received goods against purchase orders for identification, type, quantities, and part numbers. The coordinator also prepares and ships intercompany mail, delivers non-inventory items, and accepts receipt of containers following CTPAT guidelines. Additionally, they monitor incoming overseas containers, work with accounting to reconcile inventory receipts, generate various reports, maintain records, and may unload parcel shipments. The position also includes yard check audits, managing SAP inventory functions, answering telephone calls, and performing routine clerical functions. The ideal candidate will operate self-sufficiently, desire to learn new processes, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with quality assurance checks

  • Inventory control experience
  • Working knowledge of RF Scanners/System
  • SAP experience
  • Warehouse experience

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and data entry of incoming materials
  • Verify received goods to purchase orders as to identification, type, quantities and part numbers
  • Prepare, ship & receive intercompany mail between locations.
  • Deliver non-inventory items to designated employees.
  • Accept receipt of containers following CTPAT guidelines
  • Monitor incoming containers arriving from overseas
  • Works with accounting to reconcile inventory receipts
  • Generate reports for inbound containers and other various reports as needed
  • Maintain records, filing systems and reference manuals
  • Unload parcel shipments (as needed)
  • Yard check audits
  • Manage various SAP inventory functions
  • Answer telephone calls in a timely manner, direct calls and take messages
  • Operate self-sufficiently and desire to learn new processes
  • Perform routine clerical functions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
