About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers’ online orders. You move throughout the store, pick items, check their quality, and make selections intended to meet customers’ expectations for accurate and fresh groceries.

You also keep orders organized and ready for pickup or delivery. This includes carefully bagging items, managing substitutions, and coordinating orders for timely handoff. The work involves shopping, packing, and preparing orders in a steady-paced environment with changing order volume and priorities.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in different store areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick products for customers’ online orders throughout the store.
• Check product quality and select fresh, high-quality items across perishable and non-perishable departments.
• Fulfill orders accurately, including identifying out-of-stock items and choosing appropriate substitutions.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized for pickup or delivery.
• Coordinate orders and their timely handoff to customers.
• Assist customers with pickup orders using clear and professional communication.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and applicable safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
• Coordinate order needs with team members and department processes.
