About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store picking items, checking product quality, and choosing items that meet customer expectations. You keep orders organized and ready for pickup by carefully bagging items, managing substitutions, and coordinating orders for timely handoff. The work includes shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a steady, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move continuously throughout different store areas and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
• Clear and professional communication when assisting with pickup orders.
• Organization and time-management skills to manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing order volume and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Select items for online customer orders, checking freshness and quality across perishable and non-perishable departments.
• Fulfill orders accurately, including selecting appropriate substitutions when items are unavailable.
• Organize and carefully bag orders for pickup or delivery.
• Coordinate orders and customer pickup handoffs to help ensure they are ready on time.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Identify out-of-stock items and follow order fulfillment processes and company standards.
• Coordinate order needs with team members and store departments.
• Follow company safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
