About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store picking items, checking quality, and choosing products with care to ensure orders are accurate and groceries are fresh.

You also keep orders organized and ready for pickup or delivery. Duties include carefully bagging items, managing substitutions when needed, and coordinating orders for timely customer handoff. The role involves steady work shopping, packing, and preparing orders in a fast-paced store environment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality and order accuracy.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in different store areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
• Clear and professional communication when assisting with pickup orders.
• Organization and time-management skills to manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Adaptability to changing order volume and priorities throughout the shift.

• Select high-quality items from perishable and non-perishable departments for online orders.
• Check product quality and ensure orders are accurate and fresh.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized for pickup or delivery.
• Identify out-of-stock items and select appropriate substitutions.
• Coordinate orders and customer pickup handoffs for timely fulfillment.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
• Coordinate order needs with team members and department processes.
