About The Position

As an In-Store Shopper, also called a Drive Up & Go Clerk, you select high-quality products for customers who shop online. You move throughout the store to pick items, check quality, and make selections that meet customer expectations. You keep orders organized and ready for pickup, bag items carefully, manage substitutions when needed, and coordinate orders for timely handoff to customers. The work includes shopping, packing, and preparing orders for delivery or pickup in a steady, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Strong attention to detail for product quality checks and order accuracy.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with continuous movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in different store areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience is preferred.
• Clear and professional communication when assisting with pickup orders.
• Organization and time-management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to changing order volumes and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality items from perishable and non-perishable departments for online customer orders.
• Check product quality and ensure orders are accurate.
• Bag items carefully and keep orders organized and ready for pickup.
• Manage substitutions when items are unavailable and identify out-of-stock products.
• Coordinate orders with team members and prepare them for timely customer handoff, delivery, or pickup.
• Use handheld devices and digital systems to pick and track orders.
• Follow order fulfillment processes, company standards, and applicable safety, sanitation, and dress policies.
