About The Position

As a Store Shopper at Wegmans, you will support the company’s Curbside Pickup program by using an app and company-issued technology to communicate with customers, shop their grocery orders, and stage orders for pickup. This customer-focused role involves working in a fast-paced environment and selecting fresh, high-quality products. The position requires availability in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

Customer service experience, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
Ability to use a company-issued device to manage orders and communicate with customers.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to take direction and work independently.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Availability in the morning, afternoon, and evening, including weekends.

Responsibilities

Use technology to communicate with customers and fulfill their orders.
Accurately and efficiently shop customer orders and stage them in the fulfillment area.
Handle products properly, use necessary equipment, and bag items so they reach their destination safely.
Scan items, make appropriate substitutions as needed, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
Carry out other customer service duties within the store as needed to fit the needs of the business.
