About The Position

In Room Dining Captain reporting to the In Room Dining Manager. Responsibilities include consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service, understanding and executing all roles of In Room Dining (Private dining busperson, server, and order taker) due to business needs, assisting guests with menu inquiries, having full knowledge of beverage lists, delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently, picking up orders from the kitchen, checking outgoing orders for quality and accuracy, knowing all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods, following outlet policies and service standards, adhering to all safety and sanitation policies, assisting the F&B Manager with special projects using Microsoft Excel and Word, and performing other duties as assigned. The pay rate is $27.69 per hour.

Requirements

  • Previous Food & Beverage service experience preferred
  • Previous Silverware, Opera or similar Point of Sale Programs preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Assist the F&B Manager with Special Projects utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Other duties as assigned
