We are hiring for two (2) vacancies! One vacancy schedule is 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday. One vacancy schedule is 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Summary of Duties Oregon Eligibility Partnership (OEP) provides direction and resources to everyone working to determine eligibility for Oregonians applying for and receiving medical, food, cash and childcare benefits through the ONE eligibility system. Learn more here. As an Operations Supervisor at the VEC office you will: Manage and direct the activities and day to day operations for eligibility and support staff working at the office building for the Virtual Eligibility Center (VEC). This office location is not open to public access and serves as a support location for the VEC. Perform administrative functions to carry out objectives and goals of the department and implement the department's vision, leveraging local community resources and department staff and programs. Participate in the management of agency programs, development of program rules and policies, program evaluation and budget preparation. Monitor and analyze local office effectiveness in policy implementation and application. Analyze, evaluate, and monitor operational effectiveness through reports gathered by reviews, routine monitoring, and quality control data. Facilitate communication of program issues between department staff, community partners, the district office and central office. Anticipate agency needs and direction. Articulate that vision with staff and the community to provide an environment for effective changes to occur. Facilitate changes in services, programs, community partnerships and use of department resources. Actively model our Equity North Star goals and the ODHS Core Values of Stewardship, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Service Equity, Innovation and Professionalism. Ensure staff have a clear understanding of these goals and values; hold self and staff accountable for instilling these values into everyday actions and behaviors.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR One (1) year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience making and documenting timely decisions grounded in analysis and judgment, with attention to immediate and future implications.
  • Experience fostering a learning culture, taking ownership of decisions and outcomes that demonstrate humility, coachability, and giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Experience creating an environment that embeds diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into leadership practices, team culture, and service delivery to ensure respect and access for all.
  • Experience conveying complex or detailed information clearly and accurately to diverse audiences in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Sound business acumen; experience managing human, financial, procurement and information resources to ethically fulfill the agency mission.
  • Experience leading confidently through organizational, technological, and procedural change with transparency, creativity, resilience, and a focus on meaningful outcomes.
