About The Position

This seasonal, field-based role focuses on executing candidate attraction activities within a designated local market. You will bring the recruiting strategy to life by carrying out community-based outreach, supporting hiring events, and promoting referral programs, all while following a clearly defined playbook provided by the Market Response Specialist. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, is comfortable working independently in the field, and can creatively generate interest in entry-level warehouse opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Residence within a commutable distance (approximately 30–45 minutes) of the assigned market location.
  • Reliable personal transportation for regular travel within the local market area.
  • Ability to work independently in the field while following documented processes and a defined playbook under the guidance of the Market Response Specialist.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail for tracking, logging, and reporting activities.
  • Comfort engaging with community members, local businesses, and associate populations in a highly social, public-facing role.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with community partners, associates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Availability to work a flexible 32-hour weekly schedule, including some weekends, early mornings, and occasional evenings based on market needs.
  • Proficiency with basic data entry and activity tracking, including maintaining logs and reports.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools for reporting and communication.
  • Demonstrated dependability, including consistent follow-through on scheduled activities and commitments.
  • Adaptability to adjust to changes in scheduling, event timing, and market priorities.
  • Detail-oriented approach to reporting, documentation, and collateral placement.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience in any setting.
  • Comfort providing customer care and support in person and over virtual channels.
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage time effectively across multiple locations.
  • Experience or familiarity with recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, or human resources environments (preferred).
  • Experience in field-based outreach, canvassing, community engagement, or grassroots marketing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with local community organizations, businesses, and networks in the assigned market (preferred).
  • Experience supporting events such as job fairs, community events, or information sessions (preferred).
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or client-facing roles that require strong people skills.
  • Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, or workforce development environments.
  • Experience in office support, administrative tasks, or data entry related to recruiting or customer service.
  • Comfort presenting information in small group settings, such as info sessions using a presentation deck.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and strike up conversations with new people.
  • Experience working with internal referral programs or ambassador-style roles that promote employee participation.
  • Familiarity with grassroots marketing tactics such as canvassing, and community-based outreach.
  • Understanding of leadership principles such as adaptability, bias for action, delivering results, and learning and being curious.
  • Ability to creatively attract candidates for roles with a limited candidate pool by exploring new community partnerships and outreach channels.
  • Interest in or exposure to human resources practices, particularly in high-volume, entry-level recruiting environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute weekly in-market candidate attraction activities as outlined in the provided playbook, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution.
  • Place and refresh recruiting collateral, including flyers, posters, and QR codes, at designated locations across the assigned market.
  • Conduct regular visits to community partner locations to maintain, replenish, and update hiring materials and ensure they remain visible and accurate.
  • Distribute referral program materials on-site and actively engage associates about referral opportunities as directed by the Market Response Specialist.
  • Attend and support local hiring events, job fairs, community events, and information sessions, including assisting with presentation decks and event logistics.
  • Perform grassroots canvassing, including door-to-door outreach to local businesses and posting materials in high-traffic community locations.
  • Act as a Referral Ambassador for the assigned site by engaging associates during breaks, standups, and onsite interactions to promote internal referral programs.
  • Reach out to local housing communities and other community organizations to expand awareness of open roles and build recruiting pipelines.
  • Collect and report local market intelligence, including competitor signage, community feedback, transportation barriers, and other relevant insights, and share them with the Market Response Specialist.
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs of all field activities, including locations visited, materials placed, conversations held, and events supported.
  • Provide weekly activity reports to the Market Response Specialist documenting execution status, field observations, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with community partners to schedule material drop-offs, follow-up visits, and relationship maintenance touchpoints as directed.
  • Support recruiting efforts for tier 1 entry-level warehouse roles that require no resume, no interviews, and no prior work or education experience, using creative outreach approaches to build candidate interest.
  • Follow documented processes and the defined playbook while adapting to changing schedules, priorities, and market needs.
  • Collaborate virtually with a geographically dispersed team, participating in weekly meetings and touchpoints to align on goals and share best practices.
  • Travel within approximately 30–45 minutes of the assigned market for job fairs, community events, and other recruiting activities, submitting mileage for eligible reimbursement.
