The Public Relations Manager will craft impactful content, pitch to media outlets, meet news crews on-site, and collaborate with the national PR team. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with local elected officials for site visits and education, and ensuring staff and programmatic achievements are recognized through awards and listings. Working within a team of fundraising and marketing professionals, this position reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing and requires the candidate to live in the greater New York City area with the ability to commute to the Manhattan headquarters. Frequent travel throughout the GNY Division and flexibility for evening events are mandatory.
