About The Position

The In-House Marketing Agent will work speaking to and soliciting qualified In-House guests including owners, exchangers, and renters to attend our vacation ownership presentation or owner’s update presentation when they arrive at the resort. The In-House Marketing Agent will also be responsible for pre-booking owners arriving at the resort using branded and scripted scripts prior to their arrival to attend the Owner Update Presentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year of In-House Marketing or OPC experience is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages and discounts.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Good telephone skills and face-to-face people skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to use sound judgment; and work independently, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with guests to build excitement and prepare them for the presentation.
  • Delivers a branded and scripted marketing pitch for each guest type.
  • Books qualified In-House guests for a Vacation Ownership or Owner Update Presentation.
  • Maintains the site minimum standard for tour production set by management.
  • Provides guests with site and area information upon request.
  • Remains current on all area attractions, events, and dining options.
  • Reports all negative customer experiences to management.
  • Responsible for attending all staff meetings and training, as requested by management.
  • Performs accurate accounting and reporting of all shift(s) details as directed by the manager.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • All other duties assigned by management.
