About The Position

Windows on Washington is seeking a driven, results-oriented In-home Sales Consultant to join our high-performance sales team. In this field-based role, you will deliver the Windows on Washington value proposition to homeowners across Northern Virginia and Maryland. You will conduct in-home consultations for window replacements, exterior doors, siding, roofing, and gutter projects, guiding clients through a stress-free buying experience using our One Call Clarity sales methodology. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives on accountability, embraces coaching, and is energized by the opportunity to earn based on performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2C in-home sales experience, preferably in the remodeling or home improvement industry.
  • Proven ability to close deals in a 100% commission environment and consistently meet or exceed quota.
  • Strong consultative problem-solving skills with the ability to assess customer needs in real time and overcome objections.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and tailor messaging across diverse audiences.
  • Coachable mindset with a willingness to follow established sales processes and scripts.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred), iOS devices, and Google Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full in-home sales cycle from initial consultation through close, hitting individual sales targets and activity-based KPIs.
  • Conduct 2–3 in-home sales appointments daily within a 50–75 mile radius of Sterling, VA.
  • Apply the One Call Clarity methodology to assess homeowner needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals to meet performance targets.
  • Pursue company-assigned house leads and supplement with self-generated opportunities to maximize earning potential.
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of all customer interactions, deal progress, and pipeline activity in HubSpot.
  • Participate in mandatory training, including weekly virtual sales clinics and in-person sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager, training team, and operations partners to ensure seamless project handoffs and an exceptional client experience.
  • Embrace ongoing coaching and performance feedback to continuously improve close rates and sales effectiveness.
