About The Position

GYMGUYZ brings personalized fitness directly to clients in their homes, offices and communities. We're looking for a Personal Training Manager who wants to do more than manage a schedule. You'll train clients, develop trainers and help grow GYMGUYZ throughout Rhode Island. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines confidence with humility, genuinely enjoys helping people succeed, and is excited by the opportunity to help build a growing business.

Requirements

Nationally recognized CPT certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM or equivalent)
Current CPR/AED certification
3–5 years of fitness experience with leadership or management experience
Proven success selling and retaining personal training clients
Strong communication, relationship-building and follow-through
Confidence with community outreach and business development
Ability to coach and hold others accountable with respect
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Build relationships with local businesses, healthcare providers, senior communities, schools, sports organizations and other community partners
Develop referral and corporate wellness partnerships
Represent GYMGUYZ at community events and local initiatives
Respond to inbound leads, conduct consultations and close new business
Own new client, revenue and renewal goals
Follow up consistently and track what is generating results
Deliver creative, individualized personal training
Conduct initial assessments and reassessments
Build trusted relationships that lead to results, renewals and referrals
Work with clients across different ages, abilities and fitness levels
Mentor, develop and support our personal trainers
Help onboard new trainers
Coach the team on programming, communication, professionalism and client retention
Maintain a consistently high standard of service as we grow
