About The Position

Visiting Angels of Paris is hiring in-home housekeepers or caregivers to serve clients throughout Sulphur Springs, Paris, Mt Pleasant, Clarksville, Cooper, Talco, and nearby areas. The role supports clients’ quality of life and wellness in accordance with their individualized care plans. Duties may include companionship, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and accompanying clients on errands or appointments. Caregivers may also receive opportunities for advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for transporting clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Training in first aid and emergency response; training is provided if needed.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple duties at once.
Reliable transportation to and from client homes at scheduled care times.
Physical endurance to carry groceries and physically support clients.
Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints.
Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards, including a background check.
Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten clients’ days.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
Plan and prepare meals with clients while observing applicable dietary constraints.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Report health changes or unusual incidents.
Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
Assist clients with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments or errands.
Transport clients using a reliable personal vehicle.
