About The Position
An in-home care and assistance company is hiring skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides to provide care and assistance to clients in their homes. The role offers full-time and part-time hours, with schedules available Monday through Friday and on weekends. Shifts may be mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnights, and may be 8, 10, or 12 hours. The listed pay is $10.00–$13.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). The stated interview location is 4721 Garth Rd Ste D300, Baytown, TX 77521; this is the interview location only, not the job location.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Caregiver or Home Health Aide in healthcare, in homes or facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene care, including assistance with using the bathroom or a bedpan, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
- Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
