About The Position

Freedom Home Care is seeking experienced CNAs for day shifts in Mankato and the surrounding 30-mile radius. We focus on providing a supportive environment for our caregivers, ensuring clear communication, consistent clients, and thorough preparation before each shift. This role offers the opportunity to provide quality, one-on-one care, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Responsibilities may include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping, tailored to individual care plans.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle of your own
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS Background Study
• Availability for day shifts
• Availability for an every-other-weekend rotation
• Willingness to travel within the Mankato-area service territory
• Dependable attendance and professional communication

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, group homes, PCA services, or other professional caregiving settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
• Assist clients with personal care needs.
• Provide mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Offer companionship to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Follow individual client care plans.
• Travel within the Mankato-area service territory to client homes.
