About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking dependable CNAs and HHAs for meaningful caregiver work, providing one-on-one care in client homes throughout Jacksonville, Duval County, St. Johns County, and surrounding areas. We are a local agency that values communication, appreciation for good work, and treating caregivers with respect. Caregivers are W2 employees, not contractors, and receive competitive pay, same-day pay access, direct deposit, referral bonuses, mileage reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and local office support.

Requirements

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Level Two Background Screening
• Recent TB screening
• Classroom CPR certification
• HIV AIDS training
• Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Experience providing personal care
• Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Comfort with pets is preferred because many clients have pets at home.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Mobility and transfer assistance

• Light housekeeping for the client
