Home Care CNA HHA Caregiver
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs and HHAs for one on one home care throughout St Johns County, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. We work to match caregivers with clients based on your availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance. Our client schedules change as our agency grows and new clients begin care. You will help seniors and adults remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. Our clients include seniors, disabled adults, military veterans, people recovering from illness or surgery, and people who need companionship or personal care.
Requirements
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Level Two Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV AIDS training
- Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Caregiving experience
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Comfort around pets is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Bathing dressing grooming and toileting
- Transfers and mobility help
