In Home CNA HHA Caregiver
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking dependable CNAs and HHAs for meaningful caregiver work, providing one-on-one care in client homes throughout Jacksonville, Duval County, St. Johns County, and surrounding areas. We are a local agency that values communication, appreciation for good work, and a supportive environment. Requirements
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
- Level Two Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV AIDS training
- Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Experience providing personal care
- Strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Comfort with pets is preferred because many clients have pets at home.
Responsibilities
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping for the client
- Errands or appointments when part of the care plan
- Reporting changes, concerns, or schedule issues to the office
