Senior Care CNA HHA Caregiver
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring compassionate CNAs and HHAs who want to help seniors and adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes. We serve clients throughout Ponte Vedra Beach, St Johns County, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. Home care is different from facility care; you work with one client at a time, allowing you to learn their routine, understand what matters to them, and build a real relationship. This role is ideal for those who want to make a difference for one person at a time. Clients may include seniors who want to age safely at home, military veterans, disabled adults, people recovering after an illness or surgery, clients who need personal care, and people who need companionship or supervision. Care tasks can range from hands-on help with bathing, dressing, or transfers to providing meals, reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, or general assistance to ensure the client's safety throughout the day.
Requirements
- Active Florida CNA license or classroom HHA certificate
- Level Two Background Screening
- Recent TB screening
- Classroom CPR certification
- HIV AIDS training
- Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
- Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
- Reliable transportation
- Paid caregiving experience with seniors or adults needing personal care
- Good communication skills
- A dependable and caring attitude
Nice To Haves
- Comfort with pets is preferred.
Responsibilities
