About The Position

Care to Stay Home is hiring in-home caregivers throughout North Idaho, including opportunities in Post Falls, Coeur d'Alene, and Hayden. Caregivers help seniors and other individuals maintain independence and quality of life through personalized, compassionate care and meaningful relationships. The organization welcomes both experienced caregivers and people looking to develop a career in home care. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on availability and client needs, with efforts to match caregivers to opportunities that fit their availability, experience, and geographic preferences. Pay is $17–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
Reliable transportation to assigned client locations.
Willingness to learn and develop caregiving skills.
Ability to meet applicable Idaho background screening and employment requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
Experience caring for a family member, working with seniors, or supporting individuals with disabilities is valuable.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.
Assist with mobility and help prevent falls.
Provide medication reminders.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide grocery shopping, errands, and transportation as authorized.
Provide dementia care and other specialized care based on training and experience.
