About The Position
Endearment Unlimited, a non-medical In-Home Service Provider, is seeking compassionate and skilled In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized support to clients in their homes. The role assists clients with daily living tasks and routine home upkeep, while encouraging them to maintain their independence. Availability between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. is strongly encouraged. Positions are available full-time and part-time, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of clients and caregivers. The work is performed in clients’ homes, with occasional office visits, and may require travel between client homes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a working phone.
- Able and willing to commute between client homes.
Nice To Haves
- Availability between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. is strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and laundry.
- Assist with medication reminders and other person-specific tasks.
- Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence.
- Document client care and services provided in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in team meetings and trainings.
- Contribute to the development of client care plans.
