About The Position

Home Instead – Klipsch Senior Care is hiring compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to older adults in their homes in Bloomington, Indiana. The role is offered for overnight shifts, with full-time and part-time opportunities and flexible scheduling. Paid training and ongoing support are provided, and prior caregiving experience is not required. Care Professionals help seniors maintain independence while offering companionship, personal care, household assistance, and support with everyday activities.

Requirements

Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others.
Respect seniors and their independence.
Be comfortable providing personal care.
Communicate clearly and professionally.
Be willing to learn; caregiving experience is not required.
Have a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
Be able to bend, kneel, reach, and assist clients with everyday activities.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
Assist clients with mobility and walking.
Provide medication and appointment reminders.
Help with errands, grocery shopping, and appointments.
Support individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, or receiving hospice care.
Communicate important updates to the Home Instead office team.
