In-Home Caregiver Wanted – Windsor, VA
About The Position
AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Windsor, Virginia. Caregivers support clients in the comfort of their own homes. PCA training is provided for interested applicants who are not certified. The role offers full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules, with flexible availability options that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. Weekly pay is available for up to 40 hours per week, and full-time employees are eligible for benefits. PPE, ongoing training, and referral bonus programs are also offered.
Requirements
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online PCA training is provided for interested applicants.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Social Security card.
- Two professional references.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior.
