The In-Home Behavior Therapist provides one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism, supporting their learning, skill development, and growth. Therapists work with children ages 18 months to 12 years and implement individualized treatment plans while collecting data on each child’s progress. This autonomous role involves traveling to patients’ homes within a designated geographic area and driving up to 45 minutes each way. Therapists typically work with one or two patients per day, Monday through Friday, in treatment blocks from 8 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with one hour between patients. The therapist collaborates with families and a team of colleagues, arrives promptly and prepared, and focuses on the patient during direct therapy sessions. Paid training and assistance with RBT certification are provided; no prior experience is necessary. The role offers guaranteed full-time hours regardless of patient cancellations, small caseloads, and opportunities for raises and promotion. Pay depends on experience and highest completed education: $15.00–$22.50 for the associate/high school diploma track, $15.00–$24.00 for the bachelor’s degree track, and $16.00–$26.00 for the master’s degree track. In-home sessions receive an additional $2.00 per hour premium.
