The In-Home Behavior Therapist provides one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism, ages 18 months to 12 years, in their homes. The role involves travel within a designated geographic area, including driving up to 45 minutes each way to patient homes. Therapists typically work with one or two patients per day and have treatment blocks scheduled Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with one hour for transition between patients. The position is suited to someone who enjoys autonomy and managing a small caseload while working closely with children and their families in a supportive environment. Paid training, assistance with RBT certification, and no-cost supervision hours are provided; prior experience is not necessary. Full-time teammates receive guaranteed hours even when patients cancel. Compensation depends on experience and highest completed education: $15.00–$22.50 for the associate/high school diploma track, $15.00–$24.00 for the bachelor's degree track, and $16.00–$26.00 for the master's degree track. An additional $2.00 per hour is paid for in-home sessions, and the posting states that the first raise comes after earning RBT certification. The employer describes opportunities for advancement into Clinical Administrator, Operations Manager, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) roles. It also emphasizes a caring, team-oriented culture and welcomes applicants from a variety of backgrounds.
