About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Fort Worth, Arlington, Keller, North Richland Hills, Benbrook, Colleyville, Crowley, Azle, TX and surrounding areas. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment, personal freedom, and a balanced life. As a mobile veterinarian, you will provide end-of-life care, which is described as deeply appreciated and emotionally fulfilling work. You will be part of a community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals, with access to ongoing training, mentors, and practice managers.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Practice medicine that aligns with personal values.
