About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Impound Coordinator to work with field agents and impound locations to secure units for clients. This position is responsible for locating bank & finance customers and vehicles subject to repossession nationwide. This is solely an office position and not a remote position. The Impound Coordinator reviews impound accounts for pick up / opposition, and assigns vehicles for repossession. They also review charges assessed by impound lots and repair shops to ensure compliance with state and local laws. The role requires maintaining effective communication with repossession agents, collections, and other internal departments, servicing inbound calls, and properly documenting all account activity in the system of record. The position utilizes several internal/external business applications and technology to perform routine line of business activities.

Requirements

  • 1 year of work experience in customer service
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
  • Strong communication skills and assertive phone skills to give clear and concise direction.
  • Experience interacting with business clients via phone/email
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of websites and protocol involving Impounds and state requirements
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High level of experience using G-Suite, MS Office and related applications

Nice To Haves

  • Collections, asset recovery or credit experience would be beneficial
  • Minimum 1 year Impound related experience

Responsibilities

  • Actively work with field agents and impound locations to secure units for clients.
  • Locate bank & finance customers and vehicles subject to repossession nationwide.
  • Review impound accounts for pick up / opposition.
  • Assign vehicles for repossession.
  • Review charges assessed by impound lots and repair shops to ensure compliance with state and local laws.
  • Maintain effective communication with repossession agents, collections and other internal departments.
  • Service inbound calls in accordance with guidelines provided.
  • Properly document all account activity in the system of record.
  • Utilize several internal/external business applications and technology to perform routine line of business of activities.
