About The Position

The Import/Export Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of materials, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing logistical processes for timely and cost-efficient delivery. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing documentation, and analyzing data to improve supply chain operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
• Understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and specialized logistics software/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite).
• Data-driven thinking to analyze logistics challenges and develop solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with carriers and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills for liaising with vendors and internal departments.
• A degree in supply chain management, international business, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating shipping, selecting carriers, and planning routes for timely, cost-efficient delivery.
• Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for timely shipment delivery.
• Ensuring all imports/exports adhere to international and local trade regulations, including tariffs and licenses.
• Managing the end-to-end flow of materials, including purchasing receiving process, tracking, and receipt.
• Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and customers.
• Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including bills of lading (air waybill), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Analyzing data to improve logistical efficiency, reduce operating costs, and solve disruptions.
