About The Position

Numeric is seeking an Implementations Associate to join their post-sales team. This role is designed for accountants who are passionate about accounting but prefer building and optimizing systems over closing books. As an Implementations Associate, you will be responsible for the hands-on work of getting new customers live on Numeric, including configuring their workspace, connecting their ERP and subledgers, conducting training sessions, and managing projects to ensure successful product adoption. This position serves as an entry point into the implementation team, with a clear growth path towards becoming an Implementations Manager. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals from diverse accounting backgrounds and contribute to an AI-forward approach to post-sales operations.

Requirements

2-5 years of accounting experience with strong fluency in monthly close and reconciliations.
Ability to learn software quickly, with precision in data handling.
A customer-centric mindset, ensuring customers feel supported during the implementation process.
Strong communication skills to explain configuration decisions in customer-friendly terms.
Effective problem-solving skills for methodical debugging of reconciliation issues.
A bias for action and collaboration, operating with urgency and owning workstreams end-to-end.
Willingness to escalate issues appropriately.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero.
Prior experience in implementation, onboarding, or accounting systems.
CPA certification or actively pursuing one.
Experience with multi-entity or multi-currency accounting.
Ability to write and run basic SQL queries.

Responsibilities

Configure customer workspaces, including close checklists, reconciliation setups, flux analyses, and reporting, utilizing AI-assisted configuration.
Set up and validate ERP and sub-ledger integrations, troubleshooting any connection or permissioning issues.
Deliver onboarding sessions and live reconciliation walkthroughs, focusing on customer comfort with Numeric's AI features.
Manage workstreams as projects, maintaining the implementation dashboard, tracking customer progress, managing expectations, and escalating product blockers.
Begin with close management implementations and progress to more complex product areas like Cash, which involves transaction-matching rules, SFTP data feeds, and automation rate tuning.
Contribute to process automation by writing Knowledge Base articles, building templates, and training AI agents.
