Overview As part of our Professional Services and Implementation organization, the Implementation Solutions Architect is the technical lead for enterprise implementations of MindBridge. This role is responsible for translating customer requirements into a scalable, supportable solution design and driving the technical execution required to move customers from post-sale handoff through deployment, validation, go-live, and technical stabilization. This is a delivery role, not a renewal-management role and not a pre-sales Solutions Architect role. You will serve as a named technical resource for initial enterprise implementations, partnering closely with Implementation Advisors / Project Managers, Customer Success Managers, Support, Product, and customer IT and data stakeholders. This role combines architecture leadership with hands-on execution. You must be able to lead technical design sessions, define implementation approaches, assess risks, and make sound architecture decisions while also being willing and able to get hands-on with data, configuration, validation, SQL, and technical troubleshooting when needed. You will play a critical role in accelerating time-to-value, improving implementation consistency, reducing technical delivery risk, and ensuring strong handoffs into post-go-live customer success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading technical delivery for complex enterprise software implementations
  • Strong solution architecture instincts paired with a willingness to execute hands-on technical work
  • Ability to engage credibly with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong SQL fluency and comfort working directly with structured data, mappings, validation logic, and issue diagnosis
  • Experience working with ERP environments, financial datasets, or enterprise data ecosystems
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into action, structure, and customer-facing confidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to run workshops, design reviews, and technical working sessions
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Implementation, Customer Success, Support, Product, and commercial teams
  • A delivery mindset: practical, accountable, resourceful, and able to move between strategy and execution without losing momentum
  • 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, Implementation Consulting, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering with post-sale delivery responsibility, or similar customer-facing technical delivery roles
  • 3+ years supporting enterprise implementations of data-intensive SaaS, analytics, AI, or workflow platforms
  • Strong SQL proficiency
  • Experience working with ERP systems, financial data, or complex enterprise source systems
  • Experience with data mapping, validation, integration requirements, and technical onboarding
  • Experience leading customer-facing technical workstreams across implementation projects
  • Experience working with large, complex enterprise organizations and cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to travel as required for enterprise implementations
  • Willingness to occasionally support customers outside standard business hours during critical deployment milestones
  • Background check eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in audit, finance, controllership, or financial risk technology environments
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms or modern data architectures such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or similar environments
  • Experience with APIs, ETL / ELT concepts, scripting, or adjacent data engineering workflows
  • Experience building or improving implementation methodologies, technical playbooks, or reusable solution assets
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, SSO, access controls, and customer security review processes
  • Experience in AI-driven, analytics, or enterprise data platforms
  • CPA, CA, CIA, CISA, or similar credential is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Architecture for Enterprise Implementations
  • Own the technical solution design for enterprise MindBridge implementations
  • Translate customer business objectives, source-system realities, and delivery constraints into a clear implementation architecture and deployment plan
  • Lead architecture and solution design sessions with customer IT, data, audit, finance, and security stakeholders
  • Define implementation blueprints covering data ingestion, source mapping, validation logic, environment readiness, user setup, and go-live criteria
  • Ensure technical designs are scalable, supportable, and aligned to MindBridge product capabilities and implementation standards
  • Execute the Technical Workstream Hands-On
  • Actively support and perform hands-on implementation work, including data analysis, SQL-based validation, configuration support, issue triage, and technical troubleshooting
  • Validate source data structures, transformation logic, and outputs to ensure the customer’s data is fit for use in MindBridge
  • Partner directly with customer technical teams to resolve data, integration, and environment issues that could delay implementation
  • Support testing, validation, defect resolution, and technical readiness activities through go-live
  • Operate as both strategic architect and practical delivery resource, especially in a small-company environment where role flexibility matters
  • Drive Data, Integration, and Environment Readiness
  • Lead technical discovery to assess ERP landscape, source systems, financial data requirements, historical data availability, and access prerequisites
  • Guide customers through technical onboarding requirements including file formats, data mapping, identity/access considerations, and implementation dependencies
  • Identify integration, data quality, security, or environment readiness risks early and drive mitigation plans
  • Partner with internal and customer teams to ensure technical dependencies are understood, sequenced, and resolved on time
  • Establish clear technical entry and exit criteria for each major implementation phase
  • Deliver Predictable Time-to-Value
  • Partner with implementation leadership to create technically realistic project plans, milestones, and workback schedules
  • Ensure the technical workstream progresses in a disciplined way, with clear ownership, decision points, and escalation paths
  • Balance speed with implementation quality by making practical decisions about sequencing, scope, and delivery tradeoffs
  • Remove technical blockers quickly and maintain momentum toward first value and go-live
  • Help create a more repeatable and scalable enterprise implementation motion through better architecture, standardization, and execution rigor
  • De-Risk Complex Customer Deployments
  • Assess the technical complexity of new implementation engagements across data readiness, source-system complexity, stakeholder alignment, and deployment constraints
  • Surface risks early and recommend mitigation strategies, phased approaches, or design adjustments where appropriate
  • Provide clear, credible guidance when customer asks or internal assumptions are technically unsound
  • Escalate issues when implementation success is threatened by unclear scope, poor data readiness, weak customer ownership, or technical misalignment
  • Bring structure and technical judgment to ambiguous or high-risk implementation scenarios
  • Build Strong Handoffs and Reusable Delivery Assets
  • Produce clear implementation documentation, architecture decisions, validation outputs, and handoff notes for Customer Success and Support
  • Ensure post-go-live teams inherit a technically coherent picture of the account, including known risks, architecture context, and recommended next steps
  • Contribute to reusable delivery assets such as implementation playbooks, design templates, validation checklists, and technical standards
  • Provide structured field feedback to Product, Engineering, and Services leadership based on recurring implementation patterns and customer constraints
  • Help shape the long-term evolution from named implementation resources toward a more scalable pooled specialist model
