About The Position

Responsible for the success of IT and internal projects for Skywater MN. Must understand complex system interactions in business and IT environments. Drive team to modern software solutions and possess the ability to influence without position authority, direct resources, enforce processes and ensure projects are executed on time and in budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical business-related discipline (Finance, etc.)
• 2 + years in semiconductor or high tech industry (Software) or IT Project Management
• Atlassian experience
• Demonstrated project management and history of successes in past work
• Curious problem solver
• Ability to present complex information simply
• Desire to work in different levels of the organization
• Excellent at relationship building and influencing without position authority
• Ability to obtain a US government security clearance
• US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

• Atlassian Certificate
• CAPM/PMP
• SQL/Python/Data Mining ability
• Basic understanding of AI in workflows and processes

Responsibilities

• Work closely with leadership to overcome challenges, ensuring project aligns with company strategic goals and provide structure to execute project.
• Oversee complex multiyear projects. Detailed planning, execution, and tracking of projects; escalate issues and change of scope requests.
• Accountable for project requirements and crisp execution of project milestones.
• Report on project budget including vendor management; work with customers and data analytics team to support project scope.
• Build a sense of common team and mission that enables team to execute projects. Empowered to host workshops, hold team celebrations and help create a culture of winning and excitement in the work Skywater does.
