About The Position

The Budd Group is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented New Account Implementation Manager with hands-on experience in setting up and opening new accounts to join their growing Center of Excellence. This role is likened to an 'Air Traffic Controller' for new business, ensuring every new account launches smoothly and successfully without interruptions to the customer. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same and is comfortable with frequent travel, including occasional hotel stays.

Requirements

  • Hands-On Experience: Proven track record of successfully opening and managing new accounts, especially in janitorial, hospitality, or facilities management.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex new site launches on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional Organization: Must be a 'SmartSheet wizard' or master of logistics, able to prioritize multiple moving tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-Level Communication: Ability to serve as the face of The Budd Group to high-paying customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel up to 75%–90% across the company footprint (including Charlotte, Nashville, and Richmond).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with occasional weekend work based on project go-live dates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Startups: Hands-on management of new account launches, including setting up operations, staff, and supplies for new janitorial and facilities accounts.
  • Facilitate Communication: Lead weekly coordination meetings with local operations teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to keep all 'planes' on schedule.
  • Optimize Operations: Develop and implement cleaning protocols, equipment layouts, and operational workflows tailored to each new account.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee the hands-on ordering, receiving, and placement of equipment and supplies required for account launches.
  • Support & Train: Work with training teams to ensure frontline staff and managers are fully equipped and educated on new site operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor new accounts, conduct site visits, and refine procedures to maintain peak performance.
  • Influence Excellence: Act as a consultant to regional leadership, leveraging data and operational insights to influence the best operational decisions.
