About The Position

Papaya Global is seeking a Global Payroll & EOR Onboarding Implementation Manager to join its Operations teams. The role leads end-to-end client onboarding and implementation projects for Global Payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), and workforce management solutions. The manager guides clients from discovery through platform configuration, data migration, testing, payroll validation, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization, while coordinating with internal teams to support a successful delivery and handover. The role also contributes to improving implementation practices and uses AI-powered tools and workflows to strengthen efficiency, documentation, project execution, and client outcomes. Success in the role means delivering high-quality implementations on time and within scope; ensuring payroll, HR, and EOR processes are configured accurately and compliantly; building trusted client and internal relationships; improving operational processes through scalable practices, automation, and AI-enabled workflows; and supporting high client satisfaction and smooth transitions into ongoing service delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
At least 4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, consulting, project management, customer success, or similar client-facing roles.
At least 3 years of experience in payroll, global payroll, EOR, HR technology, or workforce management environments.
Proven experience managing complex implementation projects from discovery through go-live.
Strong understanding of payroll operations, onboarding processes, compliance requirements, and workforce management solutions.
Experience working with HRIS, payroll, ERP, or workforce management platforms.
Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to leverage AI tools to improve productivity, project execution, documentation, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Salesforce or Salesforce-based applications.
Experience with integrations, APIs, and enterprise software ecosystems.
Experience supporting multinational organizations and global workforce solutions.
Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end onboarding and implementation projects for Global Payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), and workforce management solutions.
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout implementation and provide a smooth client experience.
Conduct discovery sessions to understand client payroll, HR, compliance, operational, and business requirements.
Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Guide clients through platform configuration, data migration, testing, payroll validation, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization.
Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Management to deliver implementations and ensure seamless handover.
Support integrations between payroll, HRIS, ERP, and other third-party systems.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and operational challenges, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
Use AI-powered tools and workflows to improve implementation efficiency, documentation quality, project delivery, and client outcomes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
