About The Position

Suveto is a dynamic and growing veterinary organization dedicated to supporting its hospitals and teams with innovative strategies. They are seeking an experienced and skilled Implementation Lead to join their growing IT team. The Implementation Lead is pivotal in driving the success of Suveto-supported practices by ensuring seamless integration and optimization of the ezyVet veterinary practice management software. This role directly impacts the quality of care provided to patients, the efficiency of clinical and administrative workflows, and the overall operational excellence of the organization. By leading full-cycle implementations and standardizing workflows, the Implementation Lead helps Suveto achieve its strategic goals, including improved patient outcomes, increased staff productivity, and enhanced customer satisfaction. This role requires up to 50% travel to various Suveto-supported practices for on-site implementations, training, and support. Travel may include overnight stays and occasional weekend work to accommodate practice schedules and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with ezyVet or similar veterinary practice management software.
In-depth understanding of veterinary operations, including appointment scheduling, billing, clinical documentation, and inventory.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in systems implementation, healthcare technology, or clinic operations.
Strong ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
Expertise in aligning business processes with system capabilities using best practice methodologies.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Suveto's clinical and operational standards.
Experience with multi-site practice groups or corporate veterinary consolidators.
Comprehensive knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., lab diagnostics, payment systems, inventory control).
Proficiency in using project management tools (MS Planner, MS Project, Smartsheet).

Responsibilities

Lead full cycle ezyVet implementations for new or transitioning practices, adhering to Suveto’s standardized implementation framework.
Develop and manage detailed project plans with milestones, roles, and timelines that align with Suveto's methodology.
Coordinate internal resources and vendors to ensure alignment with defined implementation templates and success criteria.
Apply Suveto’s preferred workflows, data structure standards, naming conventions, and configuration practices to all implementations.
Align clinical and administrative processes with system capabilities using best practices, without deviating from best practice models unless justified and approved.
Ensure each implementation supports Suveto’s strategic goals, including reporting consistency, system scalability, and operational efficiency.
Act as the primary liaison between practice managers, clinicians, IT, internal (finance, marketing, operations) and external (ezyVet, IDEXX, and other integrations) partners for each project.
Integrate detailed project tracking tools to monitor progress, assess risks, and ensure alignment with defined templates and success criteria.
Conduct regular project check-ins with internal stakeholders and vendors to address bottlenecks and maintain accountability for defined deliverables.
Communicate requirements clearly, document decisions, and track progress to ensure accountability.
Coordinate and lead practice-specific training in collaboration with Suveto’s education or onboarding teams and ezyVet-provided materials.
Promote adoption of Suveto-aligned workflows and reinforce consistent use of the platform.
Identify and resolve barriers to adoption through hands-on support and change management techniques.
Monitor system usage post-implementation and provide structured support throughout the stabilization period.
Drive post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and update Suveto implementation playbooks.
Identify opportunities for optimization and ongoing enhancements that align with evolving organizational standards.
