About The Position

The Implementation Design Lead serves as a technical lead supporting the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Blue Yonder and other supply chain technology solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, IT teams, vendors, and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an Information Technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Information Technology systems and applications.
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with system implementation, configuration, testing, and support.
  • Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop technical documentation and training materials.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong business relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and cross-functional environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience implementing and supporting supply chain or Warehouse Management System (Blue Yonder) solutions is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in business requirements gathering, SIPOC workshops, and solution design activities.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and system configurations.
  • Define functional and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation teams.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert during solution design and configuration activities.
  • Support system design reviews, software demonstrations, and solution fit assessments.
  • Configure, customize, and integrate Blue Yonder WMS and related supply chain solutions with existing business processes.
  • Perform system setup, testing, troubleshooting, training, go-live support, and post-implementation support.
  • Participate in Integration Design, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Day-In-The-Life-Of (DILO) sessions.
  • Develop and recommend configuration strategies that meet business and customer requirements.
  • Apply established IT methodologies and implementation standards to ensure consistent project delivery.
  • Support the development of new solutions and implementation strategies when required.
  • Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, configuration guides, and troubleshooting materials.
  • Document system configurations, modifications, and project-related changes.
  • Capture lessons learned and update standard documentation accordingly.
  • Facilitate training sessions for associates, customers, and business partners.
  • Work closely with IT leadership, business analysts, developers, QA teams, operations teams, infrastructure teams, customers, vendors, and third-party service providers.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and technical recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise across teams and divisions.
