City Year Philadelphia seeks an Impact Manager (IM) who is responsible for the overall management of the execution of the day-to-day operations and achievement for teams of 6-9 or 12-18 Student Success Coaches (also known as SSCs and service outcomes. The IM manages the work of SSCs with the shared goals of keeping students on track to graduate and establishing positive relationships with school partners. The Impact Manager will coach their SSC teams through a journey of learning, reflection, and service to build civic capacity, civic identity, and leadership skills. Reporting directly to an Impact Director, the IM is responsible for collaborating with the Impact Department and other City Year colleagues to meet all department and organizational goals. Additionally, the Impact Manager is responsible for curating and supporting transformational school partnerships, community, and external stakeholder relationships to promote and support the long-term sustainability of the site. Compensation for this position is in the $50,000 to $56,000 range. The anticipated start for this position is June 2026. This is a year-round, in-person, school-based position. IMs are required to work in the schoolhouse a minimum of 4 days a week, except on days they need to attend in-person meetings and/or work outside of the schoolhouse. IMs must be available for afterschool programming. IMs will support two schools and will spend two days at school A and two days at school B every week.
