About The Position

Help UDRI and the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office measure, communicate, and amplify the mission impact of sustainment initiatives that support Air Force readiness. We invite qualified applicants to apply for our Impact Analyst opening today! The Impact Analyst works alongside the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) to identify, measure, and communicate the value, outcomes, and mission impact of RSO programs, directly supporting the RSO Communications Plan's goal of promoting understanding of the value and impact of RSO initiatives on Air Force readiness and sustainment. Embedded with the RSO team, the Impact Analyst participates in day-to-day program meetings to understand ongoing work, priorities, and target audiences, and works with RSO leadership to focus analysis on the most important messages and stakeholder needs. The position gathers, compiles, and validates the data and metrics that substantiate RSO messaging—collaborating with RSO program managers, subject matter experts, and UDRI's cost analysis and metrics team—and develops and maintains impact-tracking methods that measure outcomes and adoption over time. From these findings, the Impact Analyst translates activities and results into clear, evidence-based impact statements, value narratives, vignettes, and success stories, drafting accurate, audience-ready content and partnering with the strategic communications team and content writer to finalize and polish it for publication, consistent with the RSO Brand Guide and key messages. The position also develops and streamlines internal processes and standards for impact analysis, measurement, and reporting, and may support additional UDRI customers and initiatives as needed. Co-located with the customer at the Hangar 01 facility, this is an outward, communication-facing analytical role focused on framing mission value rather than producing cost models or system-of-record financial reporting. This position will travel between UDRI locations, base, and other mission locations to support communications work as needed.
