Requirements

  • J.D. and active U.S. bar admission.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Hands-on experience in EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A, H-1B, or family- and marriage-based immigration matters.
  • Rigor, ownership, and strong writing skills, particularly in extraordinary-ability and high-skilled petition work.
  • Client-management polish and ability to own the client relationship.
  • Ability to manage a matter from handoff to completion independently.
  • Comfort with a 1099 independent-contractor engagement and a full, exclusive production caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Build and carry individual immigration cases (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1A) from handoff to filing-ready submission, with a Managing Attorney's review.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35-40 active matters, with control over daily and weekly scheduling.
  • Own client relationships throughout the case lifecycle, ensuring clients are informed and responsive.
  • Utilize Manifest's AI tools and technology for automated handoffs, draft tracking, and case management to focus on case-advancing work.
  • Work exclusively with Manifest for the duration of the engagement, focusing entirely on case production.
  • Handle case production, as consultations are managed by Manifest's consulting associates.
