We are looking for the best talent in Immunology. The Johnson & Johnson Immunology Internship Program offers a full-time, immersive learning experience within Immunology Therapeutic Area Research and Development. Interns contribute to meaningful projects, engage with leaders and colleagues across functions, and build practical skills through structured learning, mentorship, and exposure to the drug development process. The program is designed to foster professional growth while giving interns an opportunity to support innovative immunology research and clinical development. Designed to cultivate the next generation of talent, the program helps interns develop scientific, technical, and professional capabilities while exploring career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The internship spans approximately three months, from May 17 through August 6, 2027. The position is located in Spring House, PA. As a Clinical Scientist Intern, you will join a clinical development team within the Immunology Therapeutic Area. With guidance from an assigned mentor, you will contribute to clinical trial activities and gain exposure to the development and implementation of clinical strategies across Phase I–III immunology studies. The role offers opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across scientific, medical, operational, regulatory, and other functional disciplines in a global matrix environment. The Clinical Scientist Intern may support cross-functional trial team activities such as protocol and study-material development, literature reviews, medical review of clinical data, clinical study report preparation, and documents supporting regulatory filings. In collaboration with the Study Responsible Scientist, Study Responsible Physician, and other team members, the intern may also help monitor or support aspects of clinical trial conduct. Each intern will complete one primary research project and may receive additional assignments based on team needs. Interns will present their work to project teams and conclude the program by presenting a poster or abstract on their primary project at the research symposium. The internship is designed to give undergraduate and graduate students practical experience in a large pharmaceutical research and development environment and a foundational understanding of novel drug development. Interns will learn about immune-mediated diseases, including disease biology, diagnosis, treatment approaches, and the mechanisms of action of investigational medicines evaluated in clinical trials. The curriculum also includes training on applicable Standard Operating Procedures, study-specific requirements, clinical database systems, and medical data review tools.
