The program is designed to foster professional growth while giving interns an opportunity to support innovative immunology research and clinical development. Designed to cultivate the next generation of talent, the program helps interns develop scientific, technical, and professional capabilities while exploring career opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. The internship spans approximately three months, from May 17 through August 6, 2027. The position is located in Spring House, PA. Job Description: As an Immunology Computational Scientist Intern within Discovery or Translational Science and Medicine, you will join a multidisciplinary team advancing the discovery and development of innovative therapeutics. Working closely with a dedicated mentor, you will lead a defined computational research project that applies bioinformatics, data science, and quantitative methods to address an immunology research question. Depending on the project, you may analyze human cellular, molecular, genetic, or multi-omics data; develop or evaluate computational workflows and algorithms; identify disease-relevant pathways, therapeutic targets, mechanisms of action, or biomarkers of response and resistance; and integrate findings with experimental or clinical evidence. You will collaborate with scientists across functions, build practical experience in pharmaceutical R&D and drug development, and communicate your findings to project teams and senior leaders. At the conclusion of the internship, you will present your work through an abstract or poster at the organization-wide research symposium.
