This position performs general diagnostic radiologic exams and assists providers with specialty exams. Performs clinical and general department responsibilities to optimize quality, patient satisfaction, and utilization of services. This unique role combines patient registration, clinical support, and limited radiology services in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, build meaningful patient relationships, and gain valuable imaging experience while serving patients in both mountain and gateway-to-Glacier National Park communities.

Requirements

• Current Montana EMT license
• Current Montana Paramedic license
• Current Montana LPN license
• Completion of a 104-hour board-approved course to successfully obtain Limited Permit X-Ray within one (1) month of hire required.
• Successfully obtain Limited Permit from the State Board of Radiology Technologists within two (2) months of hire required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) certification within seven (7) days of hire or prior to independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist providers with patient care and clinic procedures.
• Prepare patients for radiology examinations.
• Perform radiologic examinations within Limited Permit specifications.
• Collect and process specimens as applicable.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
• Support efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
