About The Position

Shared Imaging is a privately held organization committed to organic growth, having doubled revenue in the past 10 years and dedicated to utilizing the best technology to support clients. We pride ourselves on our "White Glove" service model, delivering the best possible patient experience. Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a PRN Imaging Technologist Aide in San Francisco, CA. This is an as-needed position, with 10-12 hours per week expected, though this may vary based on facility needs. Travel to multiple locations including San Francisco, San Rafael, and Vallejo is required, as is weekend availability.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
Team player with a positive attitude
Completed background check and drug screen on file

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
Patient care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Greeting and directing patients
Confirming and registering patients
Verifying all necessary information is available for the test
Ability to walk to and from hospital and trailer as needed
Assist patients in and out of the trailer
Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms
Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas
Ordering supplies
Other responsibilities as directed
