About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services. The Radiology Department is a full-service, diagnostic center dedicated to delivering the highest quality imaging services. This role is responsible for performing routine duties in the daily operation of Radiology Services, including patient transportation, radiographic film development and copying, stocking supplies, and clerical duties. The position involves 16 hours per week with two 8-hour shifts on Thursdays and Saturdays from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Primary duties include patient transport and supply stocking.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience

Responsibilities

• Schedules procedures, maintains medical record information, obtains prescriptions when necessary.
• Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed.
• Maintains and ensures availability of supplies and equipment.
• Follows up when necessary with outside films and calls in results.
