About The Position

This role is for an Imaging Services Assistant at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. The position is PRN (as needed) and operates on a day shift schedule. The assistant will partner with technologists to prepare rooms and position patients, aiming to reduce scan turnaround times. They will also be responsible for demystifying imaging procedures for patients to minimize anxiety, managing patient transport with a focus on safety and identity verification, maintaining organized department files, and ensuring the efficient routing of diagnostic reports to physicians.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
