About The Position

This role involves guiding and comforting patients by explaining imaging procedures and providing educational materials. The assistant will prepare and position patients for exams, collaborating with technologists and assisting with safe transport. They will champion radiation safety protocols, manage clinical spaces and inventory by disinfecting exam rooms, restocking supplies, and discharging patients. Additionally, the assistant will streamline departmental operations by organizing patient charts, matching films, and delivering medical reports to physicians.

Requirements

BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

4 shifts per week M-F with start times from 830a-5p and/or 1030a-7p and a weekend rotation with our interns
BLS, prior imaging assistant experience a plus

Streamline departmental operations by organizing patient charts, matching films, and delivering accurate medical reports to physicians to facilitate swift, reliable diagnoses.
