About The Position

This role is responsible for explaining procedures to patients, providing educational materials, and transporting patients to clinical areas while verifying identities. The assistant will also help technologists with patient positioning and exam preparation to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images. A key responsibility is to strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure. Additionally, the role involves handling administrative tasks such as filing/retrieving patient records and reports, and managing departmental inventory. Post-procedural duties include patient discharge, room sanitation, and restocking of supplies.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
