Imaging Services Assistant
About The Position
This role involves supporting technologists by preparing and positioning patients for radiological examinations. The assistant will facilitate patient understanding by explaining procedures and providing relevant educational materials. They will also be responsible for transporting patients safely while adhering to strict identification and radiation safety protocols. Additionally, the role includes managing administrative workflows such as filing, record retrieval, and document delivery, as well as maintaining clinical readiness by cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory control.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
